When I first started taking college courses, I had no interest in academics, however I had a passion for photography. I remember showing up to my first black and white photography class. Although everyone had these innovative digital cameras to learn from, mine was a badass 1980 Nikon 35mm manual that my mom handed down to me. I took a few black and white photography classes, and later digital photography as well.
Eventually I stopped taking classes and the passion started to fade. I was caught up in unimportant things and I threw what I loved to the backseat.
So 12 years later, I'm back at it.
I recently purchased a Canon DSLR, and I have found that passion again!
Its been so fun relearning the different techniques of photography, and being able to demonstrate that by capturing memorable moments of my kids and things I find uniquely beautiful.
I love the tale a good photo can tell. Here goes to sharing mine.
